I came here via LGF. Thank you for your excellent updates; I'm pleased to find a Dutch website in English where I can follow the latest Theo news. This murder was extremely upsetting to me. To be honest, I had never heard of Theo Van Gogh before Tuesday, although I did know of the brave stance of Ms. Ali. Best wishes to my friends in the Netherlands and thank you for your assistance in Iraq.

I am an american living in Amsterdam, and I find this even more shocking than the election results in the States. I found the way here through Andrew Sullivans site, and I admire the way he´s keeping this story current in his blog the past few days, even to the point of apology.

I call for the repatriation of all non-Dutch born Muslims back to their original homelands;

I call for the closing of Dutch borders to all immigrants for the next five years as we weed out the existing bad immigrants and expel them;

Van Gogh was a great artist. His great great nepghew was a great man. Somebody , please tell me WHY Earope (and US for that matter) lets those monsters move into their land? Islam has proven for centuries to be nothing but an evil cult. I am horrified, but there will be a day when Christianity and Judaism are going to be banned, and there will be enforced "one true reliegion- Islam". How sickening. My deep condolences to Mr. Van Gogh's family and friends. He will rest in peace, looking down at the destruction of civilization as we know it. Thank you for the blog. Hey guys, don't be too hard on Islam. Yes, its in a terrible state these days, but reform isn't out of the question. Remember the Protestant reformation, and then when the Catholic Church cleaned up their act?

Although I support increased immigration controls, you can't just up and deport citizens of a particular race, religion, or creed. That'd violate our principles.

If there are a lot of muslims on welfare over there, you can change the welfare system to spread them out.That way they can better assimilate into the culture, instead of turning inwards.
