Ayaan Hirsi Ali in IHT

I see on Drudgereport.com that the Netherlands finally moved to establish Detention centers for illegal immigrants and rejected asylum seekers. Wasn't this one of the key themes for Frits Bolkestein in the early 1990ies ?? Located close to the airports the centers would be able to hold up to 500 people. Well that's a rather small number when contrasted with today's reality

Thanks for the link to "Submission." Having seen the film I was impression that it wasn't particularly shocking. Much more shocking (minus the Islamic content) films are broadcast on American tv regularly. The film impressed on me just how hyper-sensitive some Muslims are that this short, well-made but relatively tame film has provoked such murderous rage.
