Denkende koekoeksklok

Dankzij 19de eeuws genie komt het tandwiel terug

Tijd om Microsoft een compliment te geven. Het bedrijf bracht in 2006 Rise of Legends uit, een computerspel waarin de Vinci voorkomen, bekwame ingenieurs die robots op basis van klokken construeren. Daarmee is Microsoft bijzonder actueel, want dergelijke apparaten konden wel eens werkelijkheid worden. En dat allemaal dankzij Charles Babbage, de man die in de 19de eeuw de eerste computer ontwierp.
